This gap-fill assignment enabled HelpAge International to launch its Business Development (BD) Team, a brand new function that was birthed through an extensive organisational re-design and restructuring exercise.
The assignment involved the design and roll-out of team culture, portfolio distribution (division of labour), ways of working, meetings, systems, tools, etc., with a view to catalysing shifts towards a 'flatter' and more agile working culture.
BD approaches and priorities were defined and BD initiatives were launched, including in the areas of: Consulting/technical services, Commercial Contracting, Corporate/Private Sector Engagement, Social Enterprise, and Business Development in Localisation.
